Welcome to our site! When faced with the crushing diagnosis of a forelimb osteosarcoma in our geriatric, orthopedically challenged Great Dane Grover, we were faced with hard decisions. Our hope, in documenting our “grand finale”, is to provide others a glimpse into his recovery and life after amputation.
5 days pre- diagnosis without a clue of what was to come.
5 weeks post-amputation and 1 day after his second round of chemo. A lot has changed in appearance and yet so much is the same.
